Founded on the principles of sustainable development, Greenstand Enterprises has been at the forefront of introducing innovative technologies in energy and ecology for over a decade. Our mission is to reduce the carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency across industrial plants worldwide. From our humble beginnings as a small engineering firm, we have grown into a leader in sustainable engineering, continuously pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
In 2009, Greenstand Enterprises was established with a clear vision: to innovate within the energy sector and create sustainable, efficient solutions. Our initial focus was on improving energy efficiency in industrial settings, laying the foundation for our future growth. One of our early projects was the development of a comprehensive degassing system at the Zasyadko mine in 2010, which significantly reduced methane emissions and enhanced safety by installing vacuum pumping stations at key production sites.
As the global demand for environmentally conscious engineering solutions increased, so did our capabilities. By 2012, we had expanded our expertise to include the modernization of thermal power facilities. In that year, we successfully completed a major project for ICE “Tekhnogaz” LLC, which involved reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions through the optimization of heat-generating equipment and the introduction of advanced control systems.
In 2013, our expertise in hydroelectric power was demonstrated in the Yerevan Lake HPP and Kotayk Irrigation Canal HPP refurbishment projects. These projects, which included the overhaul of pump systems and the reconfiguration of trash racks, resulted in a significant increase in energy production efficiency and contributed to the sustainability of the region’s energy supply.
Innovation has always been at the core of our operations. In 2015, we undertook the ambitious expansion of the NewFuels RSEZ LLC pellet plant in Latvia. This project doubled the plant’s capacity and introduced the production of both industrial and household pellets, making it the largest producer of wood pellets in Latvia. Our team was responsible for delivering and implementing a turnkey solution that included the integration of advanced drying and granulation technologies. Our commitment to sustainability led us to further innovations in the field of landfill gas recovery. In 2019, we completed a significant project for Helector SA in Thessaloniki, Greece, where we implemented energy-saving technology for the collection and utilization of landfill gas. This project not only reduced greenhouse gas emissions but also provided a renewable source of electricity for the region.
As climate change became a critical global issue, Greenstand Enterprises took a leading role by focusing on projects that advanced both our clients’ goals and environmental protection. Our continued dedication to sustainable practices was evident in the 2022 Tysagaz CO₂ Capture and liquefaction Project, where we are implementing advanced CO₂ capture technology to reduce carbon emissions and produce high-purity food-grade CO₂. Liquefaction of methane is also being evaluated. This ongoing project is expected to significantly lower the facility’s carbon footprint and contribute to global emission reduction targets.
